Kachele Online Diary. ENTRY #17: Keep quiet to listen well

Calm Listener gains more than the angry speaker
"When they say bad things about you, keep quiet and listen to them. Don't react. Don't lose control and be like them. Instead, concentrate on what they don't say about you. For instance, if they say you are bad, this means that they have given you an opportunity to learn how to be good on your own. Make sure that as they spit their angers on you, you try hard to turn listening into a learning opportunity for you"

Whenever they say bad things about you, don't shut them up because they are unknowingly teaching you. Just listen to them and with keen interest, learn what they miss in their talking.
