Let 'A' Level Students experience the real 'Advertisements' and 'Language of Newspaper Reporting' for themselves

A s a teacher, you don't have to teach Advertisements and Language of Newspapers Reporting to 'A' Level Students without letting them experience the real things and situations.

One day, I decided to buy English Newspapers like 'Daily News', 'The Guardian' and 'The East African', then I affixed them to the blackboard.
I guided students to go to the blackboard and check out/explore the advertisements like Vacancies, Classified Advertisements, the grammar and the layout of the language of advertisements and newspapers reporting. This approach worked very well. It was a good starting point for the understanding of these aspects of Stylistics and Communication Skills in English.
