Rule 5. Some of the plural nouns that end in '-o' for their plurals by adding '-es' to the singular nouns.
Examples
Potato - Potatoes
Volcano - Volcanoes
Hero - Heroes
Mango - Mangoes
However, there are exceptions. Not all nouns ending in '-o' should end in '-es'. See examples below:
Photos - Photos
Piano - Pianos
Stereo - Stereos
Students' Activities
Allow
the students to make a list of the words that end in ‘-o’, and allow
them to form the plural forms from the list they have made. Pass through as
they work to help them.
At
the end, correct their mistakes if there are any and conduct pronunciation
drills of the words they have listed.
