Rule 3. Basic rule of forming plural nouns is that they are formed by adding '-s' to the singular nouns.
Examples:
Road - Roads
Boy - Boys
Book Books

Note: There are other exceptions!

This is the basic rule of forming plural nouns. It is a simple one in which students take a little time to understand. However, there are other exceptions that teacher needs to introduce and guide students learn them by heart and by using a lot of activities.
