Adjective
is a word that functions as a noun modifier (i.e, it makes noun's meaning more
specific) and as a complement of the verb.
As
a noun modifier, an adjective is used before a noun, to modify it. In this
case, an adjective is used attributively.
Examples:

achievement

Bad
weather
As
a complement of the verb, an adjective is used after the verb 'be', as its
complement. In this sense, an adjective is used predicatively.
Examples:

This work is good

She is beautiful!

It's great!

Our school is amazing.
