Drama & Life - The Connection between Literature and Real Life

In literature, the teacher can help students to connect what they watch on TV with what they learn in the class. 

Example: As they watch famous TV shows/Drama Series like 'Sultan' or 'Siri za Familia', or any other popular TV drama, students can be guided to identify the following drama features:

- Speech
- Characters 

- Dialogues

- Aside

- Soliloquy 

- Settings etc. 

Surely, literature is one of the subjects whose examples are found in almost every aspect of life.
It's up to the teachers to guide students to identify and understand how to connect their real life experiences with what they learn in the class. 

NB: The teacher can watch together with them and guide them to identify and discuss the special elements from the particular educational show!
