Introduction
Sibwesa
Secondary School Distance Learning Programme (SSS DLP) is a school-based
distance teaching and learning project which is managed by Sibwesa Secondary
School. This programme was officially launched on 11th May 2020
after the outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid 19). The schools had to be close and
the Sibwesa Secondary School found out the way to reach the students and the
parents. It is primarily conducted through Mobile Phone’s Short Messaging
Service (SMS) especially because of the inadequate access of the internet in
most rural areas like Sibwesa. Currently, Sibwesa Secondary School DLP Office
has collaborated with Kachele
Online Blog in preparing, producing and
collecting various teaching and learning materials especially English Language
and Literature materials for ‘O’ Level Secondary Schools.
