COMMONLY CONFUSED WORDS #08: Actual and Actually



Actual(Adj) and Actually(Adv) 
They are both used to correct mistakes and misunderstanding or when we say something unexpected or surprising. 

DIFFERENCES:
Actual means 'real'. 
EXAMPLES:
- His actual age is 40 years. 
- Her actual name is Lily. 

Actually means 'really' or 'in fact'. 
EXAMPLES:
- Actually, his is 40 years old. 
- Actually, her real name is Lily.
